Do you owners manuals have two many emb@arrasing mistakes
in them?
(Can you find all of the errors in the above sentence? See below for the answers.)

Technical writing is often the
single most overlooked aspect of a business. Frequently viewed as an
annoying secondary task, it is usually performed in a hurry, and a few
grammar or spelling errors is considered normal or unavoidable. We
couldn't disagree more.
Perhaps
you are fielding more questions from your customers than you expected
-- or wanted. Minor mistakes can make you look
unprofessional, but in extreme cases a major mistake could cause
recalls, cause property damage, or even injury to customers,
inviting legal action and adverse media attention. You're
company's documentation is often the only direct contract your customer
has with you, and it subconsciously represents the quality of your
product or service. It should anticipate customer questions so
you don't have to field them later. It should be perfect.
If your
documentation's meaning has largely been lost
in translation, we have the technical background to recognize and
correct the mistakes before you publish. Not just the grammar and
spelling, but the skill to see if the instructions really make sense in
the context of your product. There are many
different technical subjects -- how to use a wall adapter to a
pre-flight check list. It
can be challenging to find any one individual who knows all of the
technical content. Even if you can, they often do not have the
time to proof each revision. Because we have written, previewed
and amended technical documents for many years, often with
compliance of a quality system like ISO9000 or TL9000, we can
often spot
difficult or ambiguous writing that would otherwise pass your word
processor's spelling and
grammar check.
We've worked in the United States, Canada, the
Dominican Republic, and other locales. We have
translation assistance for technical French, Spanish,
Japanese and simplified or traditional Chinese.
AG Advice and
Support has written, tested and proofread
thousands of technical documents. Our standard is
simple: Perfection. Zero
errors. If you would like assistance with this often
unpopular task, we would be happy to be of assistance.

P.S. The first sentence on this page
had 5 errors in it:
- "you" should be "your" - a very common mistake in emails, blogs and even online news media.
- "owners" did not use an apostrophe before the letter "s".
- "two" should be
"too". That is, unless your owner's manual really has
only two errors, in which case the sentence grammar needs
correction!
- "emb@arrasing" - Alright, we had to make an easy one.
- But did you catch the other problem..."ss" instead of just "s"?
- And yes, "mistakes" is spelt properly.
